Twins interested in lefty Joe Saunders

The Twins are pursuing free agent left-hander Joe Saunders, according to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports.
This report comes as a surprise as the Twins rarely look to sign outside free-agents to long-term contracts. Saunders reportedly has been holding out for a three-year deal this winter.
Saunders, 31, posted a 4.07 ERA in 28 starts between Baltimore and Arizona last season.
The Orioles, Mariners, Padres and Mets are among the other clubs who have expressed interest.
