Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio is known for his slick passes on the court, but he’s looking to rack up assists off the court, too.

In fact, Rubio wants to assist you!

Rubio joined forces with the Medtronic Foundation for the month of February to help save young lives from sudden cardiac arrest. The foundation is promoting the Heart Rescue Project, an organization focused on developing and expanding SCA response systems.

Here is some info about SCA:

"SCA is among the leading killers of Americans, claiming an estimated 350,000 people each year. More people die of sudden cardiac arrest than breast, lung, colon, and prostate cancer combined.  More than 90 percent of people who experience SCA die, representing a national survival rate that has not significantly changed in more than 30 years."

The Heart Rescue Project collaborated with Rubio to create a website with a virtual simulation video where you and the star point guard could save a victim’s life. On the site you are asked to choose from a series of options, but if you choose the wrong path you could endanger the victim and they could pass away.

If you choose incorrectly at any step, you can simply start over and try again.
