Rubio joins Shved for All Star Rising Stars challenge

Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio has been added to the All Star Rising Stars challenge, joining teammate guard Alexey Shved.
The All Star Rising Stars game is essentially put together by the TNT cable TV network.
Rubio was a “commissioner’s” pick by Kenny Smith for the Rising Stars game. Charles Barkley, coach of Team Chuck, took Rubio with the 5th pick in Team Chuck-Team Shaq draft.
Shved was also selected to Team Chuck with the last pick of the draft, meaning the two will play with each other. The two will play with Anthony Davis, Kenneth Faried, Kawhi Leonard, Bradley Beal, Tristan Thompson, Nikola Vucevic and Brandon Knight.
Rubio was originally left out of the list when players were first named to the Rising Stars challenge.
