NCAA Tournament: No. 11 Gophers to play No. 6 UCLA

The wait is over.
Minnesota, seeded at No. 11, will face off against No. 6 UCLA in Austin, TX on Friday for the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The time of the game has not been announced.
Early national predictions expect the Gophers to upset the Bruins in the first round of the South Region. Despite the lower seeding, Minnesota is favored because of their dominance on the boards and their strength of schedule this season.
This is Minnesota’s third time playing in March Madness in Tubby’s six years as head coach.
