Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh boots 65-yarder in practice

Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh surprised the league with his 35-of-36 field goals performance last season that resulted with a spot on the NFC Pro Bowl roster.

Walsh posted a video of himself on Friday effortlessly booting a 65-yard field goal at the University of Georgia football practice field. He was drafted out of Georgia by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The NFL record for longest field goal during the regular season is 63 yards. Four kickers, including David Akers last season, are on record for kicking 63-yarders.

Walsh was 10-for-10 with kicks over 50 yards in his rookie campaign.
