Four of the Minnesota Twins’ last eight scheduled games have been postponed because of weather problems, including three at home.

With games being wiped out due to the weather, some fans are urging the Twins to play games at the Metrodome—at least until it warms up outside.

Team president Dave St. Peter won’t completely dismiss the idea of playing games at the dome, but he doesn’t exactly like the idea.

"“Needless to say, our organization, and certainly our season-ticket holders and our sponsors, doesn’t have much interest in moving down to the Metrodome on a short-term basis for a game or two,” St. Peter said."

The Twins will make up Monday’s postponed game to be part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, with the 12:10 p.m. game moved to a 1:10 p.m. start, and the makeup game scheduled for 7:10 p.m. The first game is moved back to provide more time to get the stadium ready.
