The Minnesota Twins will promote relief pitcher Caleb Thielbar and demote fifth starter Pedro Hernandez to Rochester, according to Twins Daily.

Thielbar, 26, is a native Minnesotan and pitched for the St. Paul Saints as recently as 2011. The left-hander was signed by the Twins out of the Independent league in 2011 and moved through High-A and Double-A up to Triple-A Rochester in 2012.

The report suggests pitching prospect Kyle Gibson could make his big league debut on Friday in place of the demoted Hernandez.
