This was supposed to be the Vikings big comeback. After falling to 0-2 this was our game. Like many you bet money on the Vikings winning this game, and like many you are all scratching your head as to what happened. The Browns came in and steamed rolled the Vikings to get their first win of the season 31-27.

This week has been crazy for the Browns who traded Trent Richardson and decided to start Brain Hoyer— a move that many saw as the team waving the white flag. But boy were we wrong.

Hoyer came out with a bang and surprised the fans and threw for 321 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. But Hoyer wasn’t done, he drove 55-yards down the field and threw a 7-yard pass to Jordan Cameron and with 55 seconds left that gave the Browns the unexpected 31-27 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Not only was Hoyer great but the Browns as a team proved that there not done with this season just yet. They converted a fourth down on a fake punt that gained 34 yards. That drive led to a field goal.

Then on their next drive the Browns pulled off a fake field goal to score a touchdown. Punter Spencer Lanning threw an 11-yard touchdown to Cameron who was wide open.

As for the Vikings— they had a poor performance all around.

Adrian Peterson was held for 88 yards on 25 carries, his longest run of the game only went for nine yards. He also had one fumble today. And everyone’s favorite Christian Ponder heard a ton of boos from the stands, but he did complete 25 of 42 passes for 228 yards with one interception and a fumble. He also ran for 46 yards and 2 TDs.

The Vikings are now 0-3 and have more questions about the past three weeks than answers.
