The Timberwolves had a chance to win tonight but couldn’t hold on in the end as the Toronto Raptors won 104-97.

Kevin Love finished the game with a double-double (28 points and 11 rebounds) Nikola Pekovic had 13 and Corey Brewer had 12. Corey Brewer scored 13 points for Minnesota. The starting backcourt of Ricky Rubio and Alexey Shved went 0 for 11.

While the Raptors did pull off a win, it was a sloppy one. They hit a couple of clutch 3s in the end and shot 50 percent to overcome 35 fouls and three technicals for delay of game, which seems to be a sticking point with officials this season. Raptor Austin Daye managed 12 points while Tyler Hansbrough had 11 points.

The Wolves really didn’t do much better either. They shot just 35 percent and lost despite forcing 26 turnovers and going to the foul line for 50 shots. They missed 15 free throws.
