The Minnesota Vikings (2-8-1) host the Chicago Bears (6-5) for the final time at the Mall of America Field on Sunday, December 1st. The last time these two meet was back in week two and the Bears handed the Vikings a 31-30 loss. That loss was pretty hurtful because the Vikings had the lead until in the final seconds of the game the Bears were able to get a touchdown and win the game.

The game marks the 32nd time, including playoffs, the Bears will have played at the Metrodome, the most of any Vikings opponent.

In 11 career games against the Bears, running back Adrian Peterson averages 107.7 rushing yards per game, the most of any player all-time against Chicago. And in those 11 games, Peterson has rushed for over 120 yards 4 times, including a 224-yard effort in his rookie season.

WR/KR Cordarrelle Patterson, who leads the league with 2 kick return touchdowns, returned the opening kick of the Bears and Vikings Week 2 matchup 105 yards for his 1st career TD. Let’s hope that Patterson is able to catch lighting in a bottle and score.
