Minnesota Vikings 2014 NFL Preseason Cuts

The Minnesota Vikings have cut 14 players to reach the 75-man limit by 4pm ET on Tuesday.

Among the biggest names to be cut from the Vikings during the first round of 2014 NFL preseason cuts are CB Derek Cox who signed a one-year contract with the team this offseason after being cut by San Diego, recently signed TE Kory Sperry, and big DT Kheeston Randall.

The other guys who were cut are:

WR – Andy Cruse
WR – Kamar Jorden
WR – Erik Lora
WR – Ty Walker
TE – Mike Higgins
OT – Pierce Burton
OT – Kevin Murphy
S – Brandan Bishop
CB – Robert Steeples
DE – Tyler Scott
DE – Jake Snyder

The final round of preseason cuts will be on Saturday August 30th by 4:00 pm ET. On August 31st, teams will be allowed to pick from the waiver wire and also fill their 10 man practice squad for the season.
