As the Minnesota Twins have free fallen to the cellar of the American League, their starting pitching has been the biggest culprit. Clearly this is something the front office is aware of as they have spent hundreds of millions of dollars the past two off-seasons attempting to rectify the situation. Last year’s results were mixed but at least the effort is there. Despite this the Twins ranked 29th in the majors in earned run average. Being 29th in a 30 team league is less than ideal. The Twins ERA was 4.57 against a league average of 3.74. Ricky Nolasco having the Season From Hell was definitely a big reason for it so the hope is he can rebound to respectability. The Twins have been busy once again this off-season in an attempt to fix their starting pitching.

Recently, I looked at the Phil Hughes extension and the Ervin Santana deal. Today, I will take a detailed, top-down look at every presumed starter to start the upcoming 2015 season.
