Minnesota Twins: Miguel Sano Is Blasting Bombs And Setting Records

facebooktwitterreddit

Miguel Sano is doing things that no man should do. Well, he should do them and only for the Minnesota Twins for a long, long time, but what he is doing is pretty fascinating to watch. Sano is hitting bombs, but what we might forget while looking at that bulking body is that Sano is still very, very young.

On Wednesday, Sano hit two absolute bombs against the Texas Rangers and he’s the youngest guy to do that since Joe Mauer, yes Mauer did hit two home runs in a game, back in 2004.

It doesn’t stop there for Sano. With the homeruns, Sano piled up a lot of RBIs and he was the youngest guy to do that in a long time. Think of a long time and then double that. You might be close.

Sano is the youngest player in Twins franchise history to have at least a five RBI game since Buddy Lewis in 1938. Yes, you have to go back to Washington Senators time to find another person to do what Sano did on Wednesday night at this young age.

I could sit here and try to write beautiful poetry about Sano, but he is so good that he doesn’t really need flowery language to get the point across. Sano is absolutely crushing the ball and is turning into the most exciting Twins player to watch in my lifetime. When Sano steps up to the plate, you look away from Twitter and watch the young man is going to do.

That’s when you know you are doing something special in today’s world.

Sano is better than Twitter and kicks rookie record and season highs to the curb.

He’s just so darn good.
