The Minnesota Vikings game was very ugly on Monday night. Nothing went quite right for the Vikings and that resulted in a 20-3 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Plus, you might have been exposed to Chris Berman for a whole game, my home decided it was better to listen to music with the game on mute. Even great music didn’t make the game go down well.

When I say everything was ugly, I mean everything. Offense and defense both showed a lot of flaws in the ballgame. The only real positives were that the Vikings did block a field goal and recovered a muffed punt, but as the score suggests, the team didn’t really take advantage of their special team success in those instances.

The game got me thinking about multiple things, so I thought I’d share those thoughts with you all right here. I have compiled six things that occurred to me throughout or after the Monday night game. In the future weeks, I hope that this list will be a whole lot more positive than what crossed my mind in Week 1.

A 20-3 loss just doesn’t give a whole lot of positives to talk about.
