The Minnesota Twins announced on Thursday which players will be attending spring training this upcoming season.

Jose Berrios is getting closer to finally making his major league debut for the Minnesota Twins. Berrios highlighted the list of 22 minor leaguers who have been invited to spring training by the Twins. Other highlights include the likes of Nick Burdi, Jake Reed, Stuart Turner and Engelb Vielma.

Here is the rest of the crew invited via the Twins official website:

"Lefty relievers Fernando Abad, Buddy Boshers, Dan Runzler and Aaron Thompson, right-handed reliever Brandon Kintzler, former Twins outfielders Joe Benson and Darin Mastroianni, catcher Juan Centeno, infielder Wilfredo Tovar outfielder Ryan Sweeney, catchers Mitch Garver, Carlos Paulino and Alex Swim, infielders James Beresford, Buck Britton and Heiker Meneses and first baseman/outfielder Reynaldo Rodriguez."

Those invited brings the initial roster for the Twins at spring training up to 62 players when the 40-man roster is added in.

Berrios will be fighting for a spot in the starting rotation and it’ll be interesting to see what the Twins do with him. Berrios has a lot of talent and should have seen some action down the stretch last season with Minnesota. Even if Berrios does wonderfully in spring, it would not be shocking to see the Twins start him in the minors to delay his service clock like the Chicago Cubs and Kris Bryant.

Twins fans will also want to watch Burdi and Reed, both of who could be a part of the plan for the Twins to improve their bullpen.
