After an amazing outing in Sunday night’s win against the Packers, Stefon Diggs was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

After watching Stefon Diggs run circles around the Packers secondary last Sunday night, he has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Diggs caught 9 of his 11 targets last week, all with new quarterback Sam Bradford making his first start. This was an amazing way to break in the new Minnesota Vikings stadium.

That is high praise for the second year wide receiver. Diggs spent some of the off season in Florida working out with his quarterback at the time, Teddy Bridgewater, and Antonio Brown himself.

At this time, Diggs leads the NFL in receiving yards. He will look to continue his stellar play, and the building of chemistry with his new quarterback. Bradford has the arm and accuracy to be able to make this a great combination.

When you watch Diggs, he runs routes so precise and evens uses his head and hips to throw defensive backs off and get separation.

He has the speed, hands, and catch radius to be bail out Bradford if the pocket is collapsing.

This is the first time that Diggs has received this award, but it will not be the last.

Last week, Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks won the NFC Defensive Player of the Week, after making a key play that changed the momentum and eventually led to a win in Tennessee.
