If Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o is available at No. 23, do Vikings pick him?

Just a few weeks ago, Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o was projected as a for-sure top 10 draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, putting him well out of reach from Minnesota’s No. 23 pick.
That may not be the case anymore.
Deadspin uncovered jaw-dropping story about Te’o’s supposed girlfriend who died of leukemia. According to the website, the whole dead girlfriend story and even just the existence of her is a total lie—a hoax.
Notre Dame released a statement claiming that Te’o, not the media and world, was a victim of a hoax.
Eventually the truth will come out, but in the case that Te’o made up this whole dead girlfriend story, Te’o’s draft stock likely significantly dropped.
The Vikings are likely to target a linebacker somewhere in the draft. If Te’o is available at No. 23, should the Vikings draft him? Despite the shocking Deadspin story, Te’o is a very talented linebacker—arguably the best linebacker available in the draft.
