Vikings sign CFL defensive back Rod Williams

The Vikings signed former Edmonton Eskimos defensive back Rod Williams to a contract, according to the Edmonton Journal.
Williams, 25, had 111 tackles and 11 interceptions in three seasons with the Eskimos.
Edmonton released Williams last week to accommodate his move to the NFL.
Minnesota is known to mine through the CFL in recent years.
As mentioned by Tom Pelissero of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities, the Vikings also signed CFL products receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux and linebacker Solomon Elimimian in the past two years—but their stays were short-lived.
