Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier, who entered this offseason with one year remaining on his deal, is now under contract at least through the 2014.
The team exercised an option on Leslie’s contract, ensuring that he will be Minnesota’s head coach through the 2014 season, according to the Associated Press.
Frazier finished fourth in the NFL’s Coach of the Year honors for 2012, in a season where he led the Vikings to a surprising 10-6 record and a playoff berth. He is 16-22 in the regular season since taking over for Brad Childress Frazier in 2010.
