The post-Percy Harvin era begins with an anticipated move by the Vikings.
The team reached an agreement on a one-year deal with receiver Jerome Simpson, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.
As it stands now, Simpson and second-year player Jarius Wright are the team’s projected starting wide receivers. Both players showed improvement toward the end of last season, but expect Minnesota to heavily address the position over the course of the next few months.
Both the team and Simpson expressed interest in re-signing at the end of last season.
