The Wild traded forward Matt Kassian to the Senators for a sixth-round pick in the 2014 NHL entry draft, the team announced Tuesday.
Kassian, 26, had one goal and 12 penalty minutes with the Houston Aeros this season. He had not appeared for Minnesota this season, but has two goals in 28 career matches with the Wild.
