The border battle between the Vikings and Packers extends through the offseason.
Free agent wide receiver Greg Jennings is set to visit with the Vikings on Thursday, according to NFL.com‘s Ian Rapoport and ESPN‘s Adam Schefter..
Per the report, Rapoport says a source who speaks with Jennings said the sides “are serious.”
The agent for Jennings, Eugene Parker, confirmed to the Associated Press that his client was visiting the Vikings on Thursday.
The market for Jennings might have took a hit Wednesday when free agent wide out Wes Welker agreed to a two-year $12 million deal with the Broncos. Jennings is reportedly seeking an annual salary of over $10 million.
Minnesota is also in talks with free agent middle linebacker Brian Urlacher, who is scheduled to meet with the Vikings on an undisclosed day. Urlacher appears to be seeking a two-year $11 million deal with a $4 million bonus.
