Leslie Frazier and Mike Singletary are not hiding the draft plans for the Minnesota Vikings, at least when it comes to the team’s need at middle linebacker.
Expect the Vikings to draft a middle linebacker in the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft.
Here are a couple quotes from Frazier and Singletary from this past Sunday via the Pioneer Press:
"“I’d like to believe there’s going to be one there for us,” Frazier said after the autograph convention. “There’s some good players at the linebacker spot, and we have a need to improve our depth and find a middle linebacker. Hopefully, we’ll get the right guy.”“Fortunately, this a good year to draft one,” Singletary (LB coach) said. “The kid at Kansas State, Arthur Brown, the kid at Notre Dame (Te’o), the kid at LSU (Kevin Minter), Ogletree, there are a few guys that have good quality. It just depends on how it shakes out.”"
We went ahead and organized some video highlights of the players that Singletary mentioned:
Arthur Brown
Manti Te’o
Kevin Minter
