For the Madden 25 Cover Vote brought to us by ESPN SportsNation, it is down to Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders.
The winner of this final vote will be on the cover of Madden 25, a version of the video game that celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary.
There are two sides of the bracket: Old School and New School. Old School represents former players from the past and New School represents current players in the NFL.
Peterson dominated the New School portion of the bracket, most recently defeating Houston Texans running back Arian Foster 64 percent to 36 percent. Peterson secured 70 percent, 81 percent, 90 percent and 94 percent of votes in matchups against previous opponents on the bracket.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was selected last season for the Madden 13 cover through the ESPN SportsNation voting.
