The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday they’ve signed linebacker Stanford Keglar to fill out their 90-man roster for this week’s organized team activities.

Keglar, a fourth-round pick in 2008 by the Tennessee Titans, last played for the Houston Texans in 2010.

It appears the 27-year-old impressed the team enough to merit a contract. Keglar was originally invited to the team’s rookie camp earlier this month on a tryout basis.

Minnesota will throw Keglar into the mix and see what sticks in the linebacker corps.
