During the time leading up to the eventual trade of Percy Harvin, there were reports the star wide receiver was unhappy with Christian Ponder at quarterback.
While speaking with Jim Rome on his radio program, Harvin said he’s never had a problem with Ponder.
"“That was false,” said Harvin who was traded to Seattle in March. “Me and Christian had a great time together. I respect him a whole heck of a lot.”“I never had a problem with him; I’ve never stated I had a problem with him. I’ve never seen a problem he’s had with me; he’s never said he’s had a problem with me,” Harvin continued. “[We were] on the same page, it’s just a lot of articles that tried to pick up on things that weren’t there.”"
Harvin has been on record of saying he was happy with the Minnesota Vikings ownership, his contract, the coaching staff, the play calling and now his former quarterback.
If he was really that happy, why is he an EX Viking?
In the previous two seasons, he openly told media on several occasions that he was unhappy about “something,” but never really clarified on what. Clearly, he stretching the truth on his “happiness” with the franchise. He did not want to be in Minnesota and returning was never really an option after last season.
