Minnesota Vikings Interview 49ers Greg Roman, Zimmer Again For Coaching Position

It is starting to look like the Minnesota Vikings are getting closer to finding their new coach as two front runner’s have now emerged.
San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman was expected to interview with the Vikings on Saturday, according to report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. According to Schefter, the interview is scheduled to take place in Charlotte, N.C, where the 49ers will be playing the Carolina Panthers in the NFL divisional playoff game on Sunday.
Roman interviewed Monday for the Penn State head coach position, but it eventually went to Vanderbilt’s James Franklin.
In addition to Roman, ESPN’s Adam Caplan tweeted Saturday afternoon that the Vikings plan to interview Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer for the second time early next week. Zimmer interviewed with the Vikings on Wednesday.
