A part of the NFL’s schedule rotation, Minnesota is scheduled to play the NFC South and AFC East next season, in addition to its six games against the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers in the North. The Vikings also get the other two last-place teams in the NFC, which were Washington and St. Louis.
The 2014 official schedule won’t be released until the spring, but the opponents and locations have been determined.
Minnesota will host Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Washington Redskins, New England Patriots and New York Jets next season, all while playing the first of two seasons in TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus.
The Vikings will travel to face the Bears, Lions, Packers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (and former Coach Leslie Frazier), St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
