Here’s a reminder that Kevin Love is not the only player on the Minnesota Timberwolves. On Monday, it was announced that Robbie Hummel will return to the Wolves after the team decided not to give him a qualifying offer a month ago making him a free agent.

According to Darren Wolfson of KSTP-TV and 1500ESPN, the deal is a one-year deal with a guaranteed $900,000.

Hummel, of course, is not a huge signing for the T-Wolves, but the 25-year-old did start to get more playing time at the end of last season playing in 52 contests while being in the starting five in five of them.

Hummel was drafted by the Wolves in the 2012 Draft, but 2013-2014 was Hummel’s first season in the NBA after playing a year in Spain. Hummel spent his college days at Purdue, making the First Team All-Big Ten three times. Hummel started having injury problems in college which dropped his draft status greatly.
