Top 6 Stat-Stuffing Seasons in Vikings History

#4: 2009 Brett Favre
After tormenting Vikings fans for 16 years in Green Bay, Brett Favre decided to take his talents to the good side. And oh boy, what a year it was. From the get-go, Favre’s performance under center was unlike most Vikings fans had ever been able to root for. Through 11 weeks, he compiled 24 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions.
Featuring Favre, Adrian Peterson, Percy Harvin, Visanthe Shiancoe and Sidney Rice, only 3 teams were able to hold the Vikings offensive juggernaut under 27 points all season.
When it was all said and heartbreakingly done, Brett threw for 4,202 yards, 33 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He had a brilliant passer rating of 107.2. Though it all ended with his signature over-the-shoulder interception to the Saints in the NFC Championship, Vikings fans were able to finally enjoy the sweet taste of dominant quarterbacking for 18 weeks.
"Game of the Year: Against the already eliminated New York Giants in week 17, the Vikings went all-out for playoff positioning. It was a blowout from kickoff to the final whistle. Favre threw for 316 yards, 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions as the Vikings rolled to a 44-7 victory."
