I’m a firm believer that a franchise quarterback alone can get a team to the playoffs, and sometimes, a Super Bowl ring. As a person that takes a huge interest into the draft, my hope for the 2014 NFL Draft was that they would get Teddy Bridgewater. That is just what they did, though it took longer than I expected as Bridgewater fell to the last pick of the first round. Bridgewater has exemplified everything that it takes to be a franchise quarterback; Work ethic, leadership, diligence, accuracy, poise, arm strength, and the mobility to extend plays. With those reasons, it is a strong belief that Bridgewater is going to be a great quarterback for the Vikings, and his rookie season was just a tip of the iceberg in terms of what is to come. It will be exciting to see how he develops.
