The 2014-15 Minnesota Timberwolves are a very bad team. Nothing is going to change that. Sure, they were competitive for the first handful of games this season, and will undoubtedly be better if and when Ricky Rubio, Kevin Martin and Nikola Pekovic return to the line-up. Still, no matter what they do they will end yet another season well under the .500 mark. The only thing that matters at this point is that the team improves and the plethora of young players on the roster get better. The playoffs were a pipe dream this season in the stacked Western Conference even if the Wolves had stayed healthy, but it is an impossibility now.
That does not mean the Timberwolves have to be terrible forever. Let’s take a look at some ways our favorite moribund franchise can finally turn things around.
