Minnesota Twins Prospects: 10-6
9. Lewis Thorpe, LH SP
Thorpe is a 6’1, 160 lb southpaw with a lot of velocity on his fastball. Thorpe has his fastball at low-to-mid 90’s consistently, and he is a bit of a bulldog on the mound. Thorpe’s ceiling is high, but he needs to work on his breaking pitches to advance his game. He also will be facing a bit of a setback as he will be rehabbing after having Tommy John surgery in his elbow this offseason. Still, he just turned 19 in November and has a lot of time ahead of him to get healthy, bigger, and advance his pitches.
