Will the Wolves Cover the Spread?
Cleveland comes into tonight’s game winners of nine out of their last 10 games. Meanwhile, the Wolves have won three of their last 10 contests. Sadly, that marks one of the most successful stretches of their injury-riddled campaign. Wiggins will have something to prove as will Anthony Bennett, although Bennett has had a tough time this season. I still think he can be a good NBA player but it is hard to imagine him fully living up to his first pick billing. I expect Love to be fired up for tonight. He always gave me the impression that he played at his best with a chip on his shoulder. Both teams will be playing on the second night of back-to-backs which takes some of the advantage of playing at home from the Wolves.
I think the Wolves will have a hard time winning tonight, but I think the game will be close and the Wolves will cover. How about you?
Tonight should be a fun night at Target Center. I will be in attendance tonight but if you can’t make it be sure to tune in to Fox Sports North tonight at 7:00.
