Sano has perhaps some of the best hitting skills in all of baseball. Sano has the size and strength to hit to all parts of the field, and has a lot of power in his swing. On top of the power, Sano also possesses a good hit tool, in which he should be able to hit for average. In the field, Sano is not nearly as advanced, as he struggles with his feet at times because he is not a particularly fast individual, but he is athletic for third base and does possess a plus arm from across the diamond. Sano will be looking to start at AA with Byron Buxton. He, too, will need to stay healthy and bounce back from having a year off due to Tommy John Surgery.
