1. Byron Buxton, CF

Buxton is the top prospect in baseball. He possesses all the tools that you could ask for in a position player. First thing you notice with Buxton is his quickness and ability to defend in centerfield. However, Buxton’s bat is what will get him to the majors. Buxton possesses the quick wrists and bat speed to be a very good average hitter, along with the strength and body to eventually become a 20-30 home run guy. This will be a big year for Buxton, who figures to start at AA and may reach the majors by the end of the year. That is, if he can stay healthy.
