Thompson is a versatile linebacker that could be utilized in many ways. He has played safety, outside and inside linebacker, and at times has played DE on pass rush. The Saints need a pass rusher and a guy who can offer some flexibility and versatility to their defense.

14. Miami Dolphins
Bud Dupree, LB/DE, Miami Dolphins
Cameron Wake is a great pass rusher, and the Dolphins have a decent pass rush. However, Dupree is just too good pass up. He can be used at defensive end and all 3 linebacker positions. The Dolphins’ stock is rising, and they have a good enough offense not to address so early in the draft. They address their defense with one of the better value picks in the draft: Bud Dupree.
15. San Francisco 49ers
Kevin White, WR, West Virginia
The 49ers have a decent nucleus of Wideouts between Boldin, Crabtree, Johnson, & Lloyd. However, Lloyd and Boldin are not getting any younger and are no longer number 1 targets. Along with this, Crabtree is going to be a free agent, and he has been disappointing. There is simply no number 1 wideout on this team. Add White and he can make an instant impact with his great hands and good route-running skills. White is physical and will make the other wideouts that much better with less pressure & attention on them.
