This is the first in a series of posts looking at the Minnesota Vikings most glaring off-season needs. Today, we will take a look at the linebacker position.

There are three ways to fortify a position group in the National Football League: Promote from within, free agency and the draft. Let’s take a look at each of those options and try to work out what makes the most sense for the team. There will be difficult decisions to be made, most notably what to do with Chad Greenway. Let’s start with the guys who are already in the locker room.
