Clearly, I feel drafting a wide receiver would be the best option for the Vikings in the first round. However, I would not complain if the Vikings drafted a linebacker or offensive lineman, particularly Thompson or Scherff. While each of these guys could potentially be drafted ahead of the Vikings, it’s likely that at least one of them falls to Minnesota at the 11th selection. This team is definitely on the rise, and drafting one of these players would only accelerate the growth of the Vikings. Regardless of which of the above players the Vikings draft, each one would be able to help the Vikings right away.
