13.   New Orleans Saints: Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon – Finally, Mariota is drafted. Many expected him to be a top 10 pick, or even the top pick, but I don’t see that happening. The only QB needy teams other than the Buccaneers in the top 10 are the Titans & Jets, and both those teams have young Quarterbacks that they’re willing to give a try. Mariota is a premier talent, and many would wonder why the Saints would need him with Drew Brees still their Quarterback, but Brees’ production is clearly going down and he’s not getting any younger. With this, it’s also not far-fetched that Brees be traded for another top pick so that the Saints can address their defense. However, at this point, with most of the pass-rushers off the board, the Saints look towards the long-term future for a QB that will take over when Brees’ days are done.

14.   Miami Dolphins: Marcus Peters, CB, Washington – The Dolphins have Brent Grimes, but it would be helpful to get a big, physical corner to defend in a division that has Tom Brady. Peters is big and physical and will help the Dolphins defense.

15.   San Francisco 49ers: Trae Waynes, CB, Michigan State – Waynes had a phenomenal pro day, and his stock is clearly rising. The 49ers just lost Chris Culliver and Perrish Cox, and need to add a corner. Waynes is a good help.

16.   Houston Texans: Andrus Peat, Tackle, Sanford – Peat is a beast at tackle and the Texans could use some help on the outside. It’s not a sexy pick, and some would mock Dorial Green-Beckham here, but the Texans have talent at Wideout with DeAndre Hopkins and the recently-signed Cecil Shorts.
