Minnesota Vikings: Awesome Photos of Unfinished U.S. Bank Stadium

People have various opinions about the site Deadspin. From an outsider’s perspective it seems like they tell it like it is which leads to people either loving you or hating you. An article posted today is something that all Minnesota Vikings fans should love.

A Deadspin contributor snuck into the now named, but not finished U.S. Bank Stadium and took some amazing shots of the Vikings future home. If you don’t like the Vikings and you just love photography or the Minneapolis skyline, this is something you have to check out.

This is the part of the article where I have to say Fansided and Sporting Sota do not encourage or even suggest that you trespass onto private property, no less into a construction site and put yourself in potential danger. I wouldn’t be opposed to putting your pictures on the internet, though, if you have done such a thing, but I hope you don’t (wink, wink).

Vikings fans have to wait another season to see the new U.S. Bank Stadium in action on the former site of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrdome/Mall of America Field. The Vikings will once again play this season at TCF Bank Stadium, the home of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.

I’m sure all Minnesota sports fans are now all quietly wondering how often we will get our ‘Banks’ mixed up.

The Vikings kickoff the regular season on Monday, September 14 in San Francisco at 9:20. The next Sunday the Vikings open up their final season at TCF Bank Stadium with a nooner against the Detroit Lions.
