Minnesota Wild Release Regular Season Schedule
The Stanley Cup was just handed over to the Chicago Blackhawks, it seems like yesterday, but the Minnesota Wild are already looking ahead to the coming season. Seriously, the team just released its schedule, full regular season schedule, for the 2015-16 season.
The season kicks off on October 8 as the fighting W’s travel to Denver to take on the Colorado Avalanche. The next game for the Wild is the home opener on October 10 in which the St. Louis Blues come to town to face off at the Xcel Energy Center.
The first time the Wild take on the champion Chicago Blackhawks is at home on October 30 and the first time downtown St. Paul will run amuck with Winnipeg residents is November 10 when the Jets come to town.
The longest home stand of the year is a tie for four games between November 21-28 and December 21-28. During the latter four-game home stand includes the way to break away from your family during the Christmas holiday with the Wild taking on the Pittsburgh Penguins on December 26.
The Wild round out the regular season with a two-game home stand against the San Jose Sharks and the Calgary Flames. The season finale for the Wild and Flames is on April 9.
For the whole schedule check out the Wild’s official website.
And if you really want to be nice and take me on a birthday date, the Wild play at home on my birthday.
