  1. Tarvaris Jackson

Good ol’ T-Jack. Jackson had an interesting career with the Vikings. He started a good amount of games, but wasn’t exactly given the best opportunity to ever run too much with the starting job. He’s a good backup QB that found himself in some interest situations sometimes.

Jackson was drafted in 2006 to be a backup behind Brad Johnson. He got a lot of playing time in 2007, but didn’t quite live up to the expectations that the Vikings had for him. 2008 they brought in Gus Ferotte. 2009 and 2010 were the years of Brett Favre.

Jackson started under center in 20 games for the Vikings, but only one in our five-year window, that game being in the Favre-injury year of 2010.

He wasn’t great, but there’s also been a lot worse thrown around in Minnesota (review previous two slides), but he’s done something not a whole lot have done: he’s played QB in a Super Bowl. Our little T-Jack is all grown up.
