If you are a Hall of Famer, you need to be ranked in any list above the first quarterbacks that we mentioned. For all of our sanity’s, it needed to be done. Plus, if you just take Favre’s 2010 season for entertainment value, he could compete for the number one slot.

Our five-season window knocks out Favre’s greatest year, his first year with the Vikings, but it does include his second year which was surely not his best season. Favre was stolen from the deep south by a couple teammates and was almost killed on the literal frozen tundra of TCF Bank Stadium.

How did Favre not sue this damn team?

I will admit that Favre gets ranked higher than he probably should be, his year with the Vikes that is included just wasn’t that good, but the Favre lover in me, yes, sorry, I am one, won’t let me rank him any lower.
