1. Teddy Bridgewater
I mentioned way at the beginning of this adventure that the Vikings always seemingly get me to drink the Kool-Aid when it comes to the latest quarterback. I might be downing a lot of Kool-Aid right now, but as I get older and wiser and reflect on the past sippings of Kool-Aid, I think that this time I am finally right.
Bridgewater is going into year two of his professional career and we already have seen things from Bridgewater that we never saw in a handful of years from Christian Ponder. These two will always be linked together, but the truth of the matter is that Bridgewater can quickly make Vikings fans forget about Ponder.
Well, for the most part. Until the Vikings make an epic fail of a draft choice. Then the memories will start flooding back.
Teddy was 81 yards away last season from 3000 yards and that was only in 13 games, starting 12 of those. The 14 touchdowns of a year ago will skyrocket, as well. It’s all looking up for Bridgewater.
He may be young, but he’s good, the best the Vikings have had in the last five years.
