Minnesota Vikings: Six Things To Look Forward To In The Hall of Fame Game

The Minnesota Vikings and the Pittsburgh Steelers get the distinct honor of playing in an extra preseason game with the two teams facing off in the Hall of Fame Game on Sunday. While the game, like all preseason games, is totally meaningless on the scoreboard, there are a handful of things to look forward to.

Maybe the things we are looking forward to will only be out on the field for a series or a snap or not at all, maybe, but they are things to be excited about. Not that we need any more excitement, I mean, it’s the return of football for crying out loud.

We are at the point that we could put the teams of the Canadian Football League out there, but in NFL jerseys and we’d all soak it in like it was the sun and we were deficient of our daily dose of Vitamin C.

Dramatic? Maybe, but that’s what we love about sports. Drama and sometimes that drama has to be fabricated going into the Hall of Fame Game, because it is the preseason game that really nothing happens, but we still really, really, really care.

As Yakov Smirnoff would say, “What a country!”
