Minnesota Twins Video: Miguel Sano hits a ball so hard it’s not a home run
Miguel Sano is so good that he hits balls so hard that they aren’t even homeruns. They are hit that hard.
This not a home run problem only occurs at the lovely Tropicana Field and that’s just where the Minnesota Twins are playing. In the third inning, Sano hit a ball that might’ve hit the back wall of the stadium, but instead hit a ring of catwalk located above the playing field.
Watch the blast here:
Sano hit the ring that allows the ball to still be in play. Sano hit the ball so hard it bounced back close to second base. Sano came out running and only got a double out of the huge hit, but it did knock it a run for the Twins.

Sano is having a heck of a rookie campaign for the Twins and this event will just keep adding to the legacy of his fantastic rookie season. It will also add to the fact that the Rays need to get the heck out of Tropicana Field because the place is an absolute dump that no professional baseball team should be forced to play in, no matter if they signed a horrible 30-year lease. Get this team to Montreal, for crying out loud.
In batting practice earlier this week at Tropicana Field, Sano hit one of the banners way at the back of the stadium, so these shoulda been bomb is no shock. Really nothing that Sano does to a baseball anymore is too shocking. Sano is just that good.
