Minnesota Vikings defeat Dallas Cowboys, stay undefeated

The Minnesota Vikings remained undefeated and the Dallas Cowboys remain winless, just the way that it was meant to be, after Saturday’s preseason contest Texas. The Vikings downed their opponent 28-14.

Teddy Bridgewater was awesome again for the purple. Bridgewater was 7-for-7 for 76 yards in his starting appearance. Bridgewater is looking like a total stud for Minnesota.

Mike Wallace finally got going. Wallace caught three passes for a total of 50 yards, one of his grabs going for a solid 39 yards. Stefon Diggs also grabbed three passes with a 20 yard long. Dominque Williams is in the three catch club with a long of 19 yards.

Jerick McKinnon caught the most balls with four grabs. McKinnon got six carries in the game, but only gained ten yards.

Williams was the leading rusher for the Vikings, tallying 32 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.

You may have noticed that Cordarrelle Patterson did not appear in the highlighted receivers. That’s because he didn’t catch a pass, but he did still flash. Patterson had one kick return in the ballgame and he made the most of it. Patterson went 107 yards, coast-to-coast, for the TD.

Blair Walsh missed a field goal in the game, but he also made two. Walsh opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 28 yarder and hit a 45 yarder towards the end of the first half. Walsh missed a 43 yarder in the first play of the fourth quarter with both the snap and the hold looking good.
