Minnesota Vikings: It’s official, Teddy Bridgewater looks like a stud
Preseason football isn’t about the score on the scoreboard at the end of the game. Sure, it’s nice to win, but when you play three lines of players, well, things might go a little sideways after your starters leave. There has been one thing that has been exciting for the Minnesota Vikings: Teddy Bridgewater looks like a stud.
In Saturday night’s matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, Bridgewater went 7-for-7 for 76 yards. That averages nearly 11 yards a throw, but it wasn’t just on Saturday night. Bridgewater has been doing this all preseason long for the purple.
Teddy went 29-for-35 for 295 yard this preseason as a whole, which is pretty comparable to what a full regular season game would be. That’s real promising for the Vikings.
I’ll admit, I probably have this view because the season is almost upon us. This is the time of the year that everyone is optimistic. Everyone starts the season off at the same record and has the same chance of getting to the Super Bowl.
One of the storylines going into training camp was how good is Teddy Bridgewater going to be. Known on Twitter as #howsTeddylookin and it’s looking like the answer to that question is pretty darn good.

The preseason leans us more towards the fact that Bridgewater will build upon what he learned in his rookie season and not experience a real sophomore slump. Plus, it’ll be the former Louisville quarterback’s first time in the starting lineup with Adrian Peterson. The presence of Peterson could help Bridgewater tremendously.
Teddy was trying to connect with new toy Mike Wallace in Dallas, too.
The point is there are many reasons to be positive and almost overly optimistic about Bridgewater. It’s preseason, it’s allowed, and Teddy has shown that it’s okay to do so.
