Game 2 – vs. Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions always look like a team that could do something and they either do or do nothing at all. Living in the heart of Vikings land, there hasn’t really been a lot of noise about the Lions here, anyway. Vikings fans are convinced that it’s the Purple, the Pack and then everyone else. I believe that’s true, but I still am always afraid to sleep on the Lions.
This game is the home opener for the Vikings and that’ll be a huge advantage. Peterson will be fired up to be in front of the home crowd for the first time since all his, um, legal issues went down and the fan population is so excited about this team that the game might be the most rocking one ever at TCF Bank Stadium.
It’ll be another close one, but a hyped up Vikings squad going into the home opener. It’s going to be the Vikings.
Vikings win
